In our first basic workshop, we will teach you about the overall knowledge of the jewelry making process and guide you steps by step, to make a simple silver jewelry ring. These are some of the first basic steps done in jewelry making that you will experience from our basic workshop.
1/ Choose design & measure size.
You can take a look at more than 40 ring designs you can choose to challenge yourself at this workshop HERE
2/ Learn how to prepare the silver ingredients & work on forming and molding silver wire for your chosen design.
3/ Learn how to form jewelry design shapes.
4/ Learn how to solder details on a design (Introduction about how to use the torch, control the flame while soldering,…)
5/ Learn how to use different tools to file, sand, polish etc…to complete the look of your jewelry piece.
Our Vietnamese master silversmith with 20 years of experience, will accompany you during the workshop and guide you closely. During the workshop, we will also share with you practical information on how to take care of your jewelry. After this first workshop, you will have the basic knowledge and skills about Vietnamese handmade jewelry making.
